Meet Nicholas he is 9 months old and was born with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). He was a healthy baby when he was born, or so we thought. At the 48-hour pediatrician follow-up appointment, a murmur was heard and we made another follow-up appointment, when it was heard again we were referred to a cardiologist. At 1-month-old Nicholas was diagnosed with tetralogy of Fallot and had to have open-heart surgery at 4 months old. Today he is such a happy baby and we are truly grateful to all the doctors, cardiologists and nurses that were with us every step of the way.
