My nephew Wylie Poole was born with HLHS!! This means that the left side of his heart has no function at all. Only 1 in 100 babies make it through the three major open-heart surgeries, and he only has one left.

He was born on April 11, 2019. He is doing well now and his cardiologist said that his heart function is the best it will ever be, considering that the right side of his heart functions for both sides of his little heart. He is a very happy baby and he really has amazed all of his doctors with how well he has bounced back.

His next surgery will be in the summer if all goes as planned! Wylie is our heart warrior and miracle baby from the Lords above! He’s very special to us!
