My story.. my lil’ princess was 1 week old and she had a heart murmur. We were in contact with Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. We found out our baby girl was to have open heart surgery when she was 3 to 4 months of age. This was the worst news I ever thought I’d have to come across in my life. They monitored Briella every 2 weeks from the time of her first visit. Up until the date. Babygirl is now 5 mths old and is 10 weeks out from being surgery-free. She is doing amazing. This was by far the scariest time for Mommy and Daddy.

She’s doing amazingly better, just still on her blood pressure meds. God is good. I thank Dr. Nahar and Dr. Sinha with Children’s National Hospital for saving my girls. She is now my heart warrior and will never have a broken heart again.
